About Avetek Limited
Avetek Limited was formed a few years ago when we purchased a laser cutter, mainly as a hobby to assist Airsail International Ltd to bring their product range into the 21st century with a more modern manufacturing method. When this part of the Airsail International Ltd was put up for sale in 2011, we saw the opportunity of continuing to manufacture and market these excellent kits, so Avetek Limited purchased the business from Brian and Heather Borland.

Avetek Limited is the sole distributors of Auszac Eco Balsa in New Zealand. This product is manufactured using sustainable methods by our supplier, allowing us to bring a quality product to the market.
We are the sole distributors of Bob Smith Industries Cyanoacrylates and Epoxies in New Zealand and we are proud to bring this quality product to the Trade and Hobby business in New Zealand.
We also operate a 1300 x 900 bed laser cutter to manufacture our own product but also are proud suppliers of short kits for the Jerry Bates range of scale models. We also print and supply his full range of plans.
We also contract manufacture parts for full sized aircraft (Wing rib gussets for Stearman and Staggerwing Ribs)
We are also the distributors of Dura-GRIT carbide tools in New Zealand – this product has a wide appeal to modellers ( amateur and professional ) as they have exceptional versatility and a long life span.
As a family, we have been involved in the modelling community for 30 years, and have represented New Zealand at F3A Aerobatics and at the F4C Scale world championships. We have competed regularly and successfully at the Top Gun scale competition in Florida.
We have enjoyed the friendship and company of modellers at our home club in Papakura as well as the many clubs throughout New Zealand and at the various countries we have competed in.
